Did the author of this article just realize men, are as if not more, vane as women? I am guilty of being vane about my looks among many issues.

I do believe that the sexes dress and behave more as a piece of one- upmanship/one womanship on their own gender rather than the
generally perceived intention to impress the opposite sex.
