![]() I've certainly had people I'm with comment (friends, etc.).
Once at the lake I was standing in the boat when it was anchored wearing a bikini-cut suit and a boat passed by. A younger kid yelled out "nice speedo" and I yelled back "thanks!". |

![]() SwimTeamSpeedo, Dont get me wrong, I loved Maine, poeple are very nice, I am very familliar with the state of Maine, Iv bene to Bangor, but am more familiard with the northers part of the state, like St Agatha, near the canadian border to Edmunston New Brunswick (Madawaska maine) Fort Kent and all that area. Its not because people were strangely looking at us in OOB THAT ITSTHE SAME ALL OVER THE STATE. Even on the turnpike a state trooper stopped be for exceding the speed limit and didnt give me a ticket justa friendly warning and bidding to dive carefully. Iv never bene to the place you suggest but heard about it often tell me Iv heard that its very gay friendly thus speedo to.

![]() I share the same thoughts that STS expressed, being a Mainer myself as well. People are very kind and open-minded. I'm glad that you have had some positive experiences which will continue to give you a good feeling about our state.

![]() Ive only had a few mostly positive or neutral. There have been a few negative quips. Once at Venice beach (of all places) a woman called me sick & disgusting... I also heard wtf (fully said out out) that day too. Ive also heard a few eeew's. On the positive side I've got the "Hey speedo man!" and chicks trying to sneak a cellphone photo (which I love) but it surprises me because im not ripped in the slighest.
I've never been to Maine (In fact Ive never been outside the west coast for that matter) It sounds like a wonderful place to visit tho. |
