![]() Yes I have seen something like this when I swim laps at the Purdue Aquatic Center...not to sound like a creeper - but some guys, I would say more for the younger set, when they are changing, they first put on a traditional speedo (2"-3" sides), and then put on - not knee length jammers - but sort of a loose boxer cut suit. Apparently the looseness creates more drag and is more challenging to swim. THus when they actually swim in just the speedo or jammer, they move faster. Again I've only seen younger guys do this. Mainly good, or someone said, "club" swimmers, though not on Purdue's swim team.

![]() Yes, a feature in serious club training and still available from some manufacturers ( and likely to be what's there behind the guy at Stanford ie black Arena where Joe was seeking identification some weeks past - thread "swimsuit recognition")
