![]() Just for Swimmboy - but from the WP team this time and a great pic. of no.8:
http://24.media.tumblr.com/516af1b09...qhqo1_1280.jpg I could not make out the team logo on his black suit but it is no doubt a Tiger head. Note for Sebbie: this PACIFIC on swim cap is without the claw or tooth snags (an extra printing chore thought not to be necessary on fabric perhaps) PS: Worth looking at some good WP vids produced by Pacific Sports too (amongst a total of 48): http://www.pacifictigers.com/sports/m-wpolo/video/index Last edited by Byron : 04-18-2014 at 08:49 AM. |

![]() Yep, those water polo guys are studs for sure. University of the Pacific has had a great water polo team for many years, and a great swim team as well. A guy who grew up near me (on the U.S. East Coast) attended college there - and won two gold medals on the US Olympic swim team in Atlanta in 1996 - then attended the Sydney Olympics playing water polo for the US WP team!

![]() There were two 1996 Olympic Golds for Gary Hall Jr. I think but the subsequent move into water polo does not fit.

![]() It wasn't Hall - his name is Brad Schumacher, and he won two relay gold medals in 96 (4x200 free, 4x100 free), then made it onto the US Water Polo team in Sydney. One of the very few athletes to be an Olympian in two different sports.

![]() Hadn't heard of him but such
dual Olympian roles not seen since 1904 (interesting that Johnny Weissmuller was also a double in that way). Is Head Coach at SET water polo club now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cn-Bl4-qykY |

![]() This is one of the guys on the diving team at Purdue, I've seen him around the pool and practicing in this suit...it seems a little briefer, and very snug, the white stitching on the outside highlights his physique...not all the divers wear this style, usually they are in plain black with the Purdue logo, occasionally in the shades of pink breast cancer awareness suit that all the men and women divers and swimmers have. The black, white and gold brief with the large P, and the train engine emblazened on the suit, I have only seen on a few guys who were not on the swim/dive team.

![]() On the subject of college swimming and diving, I've been Googling images for "College and university swim teams" and most of the pics have guys posing in speedo briefs, but very few jammers.
Keep up the campaign and maybe 100% of guys will be in speedos. ![]() |

![]() Forgive the Danish but this pair are keeping up the right tradition in their blue Turbo club suits (and with the cold North Sea to contend with one might expect wetsuits at least)

![]() Yep - sure seem to be so (and good to see not just the teenagers who can wear suits like that)
Btw the Mission Viejo swimmer in Arena is still around on internet images I see - so any new thoughts on your post of 09-27-2013? (Cool Photos thread and #42) Last edited by Byron : 05-04-2014 at 07:07 PM. |
