![]() It is basically right behind Univ of Calif, San Diego campus.
You will find people doing the "wind gliding" with the parachute type setups on the beach. You have to walk down a very steep hill and then walk north about 1 mile on the beach to find the good section. Many go visit black beach, its a lot of fun! I personally prefer Laguna Beach, not so much walking and the waves are amazing! |

![]() If you are in the Los Angeles region (specifically Malibu) I would recommend El Matador beach. But that is also kind of hard to find.
You can search it on Yelp, people have noted the directions on that site. |

![]() I should try El Matador. I often pass it to go further up on my beach days. Didnt even know it existed until 3 months ago

Just make sure you got the correct location when docking. You have to walk underneath an arch of some sort. Personally I have never been there, but heard from about 3 of my friends that it is the best beach. Keep us posted when you find it ![]() |

![]() When I first went to Blacks I was a little nervous about finding it and what I heard from some people is that there are steep trails you have to go down but in my experience if you go down the one to the left of the glide port you will be fine. I have seen elderly people walk down this path before.
