interpretation
 Well, the thread says running and not runners and a competition swimmer might well have to run in bare feet and with rubber cap on, as well as speedos and goggles, if he finds himself late at the starting block.Then again Louis thinks he is already wet so maybe the outdoor pool water was cold and he needs a quick warm-up ?
