Introduction/help me ID my old Speedo please!

I wish I knew the answers to those questions, Torchwatch. The tag is long since gone. I just know that is is old, still retains some shape, and is the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. At the time I bought it I hadn't thought much about Speedos, I just knew they existed and admired the courage of those who wore them. I didn't know there were various styles and different materials. I would have paid much closer attention had I known.

Is it possible this was a European or Australian Speedo model? I ask this because I believe EVERY Speedo I've bought here in the US over the past 20 years has had the Speedo logo on the wearer's RIGHT hip, while pix I've seen of Euro and Aussie suits often show it on the left hip.

You've posed (pun intended) a difficult one but left or right logo is a good clue.
There is Speedo GB to be consulted (I have found them helpful) but first
eliminate Speedo USA.

All Speedos sold in Australia have always had the logo on the left hip to my knowledge. Have worn many.

I finally found a "contact us" link that actually let me write them a note. The site says they usually respond within 24 hours, so we'll see what they say.
