Tampa area beaches

There are miles and miles of great beach all along the Gulf from St Pete up and wearing a brief cut suit is not an issue. Keep in mind, however, that March is Spring Break season and you will see an oasis of college guys and gals and boardies will rule the college set.

I don't think you will find any beaches that are 'unfriendly' toward Speedo-wearers in the Tampa-St. Pete area. But the area is oriented toward families and older folks, so use good taste. Fort DeSoto Park south of St. Pete has nice beaches where I wore a brief Speedo with no problems.
