ok it took a week for the British press to start publishing the nude photos of Harry that were everywhere on the Internet. Can anyone explain why the delay? Were they worried about some sort of libel lawsuit, or were they doing this somehow for the "good of the commonwealth" or because the Brits are so fond of the royal family? A delay like this would never happen in the case of an equally famous public figure in the US. If the cameras caught Dick Cheney in the nude, you can bet that the photos would be everywhere within the press without delay, not that anyone would actually want to see these ROFL

No royal has indicated that the photos were not of Harry or somehow contrived in photoshop. Silence suggests that the royal family also knows the photos are real.

The fascination with the nude photos of Harry probably stems from the following:

1. Harry is a really good looking guy and inherited a fortunate set of genes within the family.

2. Harry;s position as the "spare" means that everyone expects him to be less somber than the older brother, and at least somewhat more of a playboy, as its unlikely he will ever be KIng

3. The public likes to believe that important people somehow do not experience the same feelings and sensations down there that ordinary commoners do. In particular, that royal 25 y/o guys are less preoccupied with their genitalia than ordinary guys are. Of course this is not true and the photos provide striking evidence that Harry is just as fascinated with and fixated on his penis as any ordinary 25-year old who is not in the succession line to be KIng of England.

That Harry is seen by the public now as and ordinary guy with sexual equipment that leads him to do dumb things is not going to in any way, shape or form hurt his reputation with the public and in particular not with the part of the public that idolizes him. In fact they are feeling sorry that Harry is stuck having this uncomfortable talk with is dad involving royal demeanor, expectations for a prince, and maybe general birds and bees and perhaps even why an out-of-wedlock pregnancy wouldnt be that great for the family reputation. And what does much-loved Grandma think about all of this? Ahh Harry, I see your predicament, but you are still a hero.
