That is pretty cool to read how daring people can be. I have seen some people nude at their cars in the parking lot at Gunnison, as they are changing out of their beach clothes and into regular street clothes. They aren't being lewd, and I doubt anyone gets reported for being naked outside of the beach zone. Perhaps they are even driving home nude or close to it. I have done so a few times.

I have bought so many speedos in the past few years. I want to try them out in a lot of places. I'm hoping for the chance to do so this year, whether at a local pool one of the lakes, or the ocean.

Fellow NJ guy here. I am very similar to you - I tend not to shred my shorts unless there are at least a couple of guys wearing speedos. As others have mentioned, I would recommend Sandy Hook. Pretty much at any beach there, including the nude beach, you will see other guys wearing speedos. My second recommendation is Asbury Park. That beach has both strt and gay guys wearing them. I've noticed alot of strt guys wearing speedos will sit on the edge of the predominantly "gay section" but even then you see speedos throughout. I have also worn them at Sea Bright since there are wide swaths of area where there is no one around.

I've been to Sandy Hook with my partner. And to clarify, area G is Gunnison Beach, which is clothing optional, not a nude beach.

It's acceptable to wear brief type swimwear on Gunnison. But I'm not sure about anywhere else on Sandy Hook.

So for anybody who is interested in going. The most convenient area to park is in Lot G. We get there very early in the morning on the weekdays. Then there is a pathway that goes from the parking lot to the beach. We stay covered up until we hit the beach. Then we'll take off our coverings, and I like to go with my M16 swim briefs from Skinzwear and she has her thong bikini.

I can get away with wearing swim briefs because I'm with another woman. But I wouldn't go alone with swim briefs, I think people would think I'm a creep.

Why would people think that you are a creep? What are you doing that is harmful to others? The creeps are the ones who think that they are perfect, all-knowing and entitled to cause trouble for others. And we know exactly who they are. You wearing what you want with confidence puts them in their place AND undermines them as well.

Looking around and on YouTube young men are wearing and swimming in shorter shorts this year. In Britain we've already had 2 heatwaves where the less you wear the more comfortable you'll be.
If they are wearing fairly short shorts they'll be turning to brief underwear as boxer briefs will be visible under their shorts, then they'll become more speedo friendly as they become confident to wearing and being seen in briefs.
We'll reach a phase where young men will be wearing speedo briefs under their swim shorts just waiting for the reveal when they're not the only guy in speedos at the beach or pool.
There's nothing creepy about a single man in speedos at a beach, it's just the level of anti speedo propaganda in America and Britain.
