On my final day went to the southeast side of the island where there is a nude black sand beach. I had never been to a nude beach before so was a bit nervous, but just took off my clothes and walked into the water. It was amazing, so much better than swimming with a suit on.

Been there too! Always wear a narrow bikini on the beaches around Kona.
No problem swimming nude at the black sand beach south of Hilo. Some nice beaches on Kauai too. Polihale beach; never crowded.
