Have you ever stuffed your Speedo?

When my car broke down in France the recovery service put me in a 5* campsite while they fixed my car.
The campsite had 3 swimming pools; indoors, outdoors and outdoor kiddie play pool.
I had 2 minutes to pack from the car before going to the campsite, I forgot to pack speedos and did not imagine swimming at a random campsite I was to be dumped at.
The campsite shop sold squarecuts in my size either black or slate grey, I got the slate grey ones. Altthough the slate grey ones are smart and fit well I still preffer the feeling of swimming in briefs or a bikini.
Interestingly the French can buy inflatable water polo goals to use in pools, water polo is a sport that isn't much supported in the UK, perhaps it's because our outdoor swimming season is so short.
