Years ago I made a Poncho & Loincloth from real Chamois leather, sold as a car washing cloth at a local store. Now Amazon has it too. I wore it as a Purim party costume, and the guys almost fell out of their chairs. It shrank when I washed it, so wash before sewing. I rode in the NY subway for Halloween, but no one noticed.
