I have a pair of these they may be ladies as they come with a peel off pad inside the crotch area. they are also unlined with no string. Having said that they fit me perfectly and look great!

Good news, mine arrived, also had peel-off pad, but have a pouch shape so definitely for men. My hips measure 39" and size Large fit perfectly, good since there is no string. My partner says it is too colorful, so I know it is good.

Some photos, size L fits my 39" hips but seems big compared to my Mategear suits

YES to florals! Looks great on you, too. I have quite a few women's floral bikini bottoms and a few male floral suits, too. Floral patterns are by far my favorite. I wear them all the time and get lots of compliments. And some bewildered looks.

I wear lots of Hawaiian shirts and also Hawaiian print swimsuits -- I like the color and if I spill it doesn't show like solid colors
