Women and Speedos

I just had a great interaction meeting a friend's new girlfriend the first time. We're at the pool (small intimate community pool) and I take off my pareo, she says, "oh I like your speedos. But wait, those aren't actually speedos at all. They're women's bikini bottoms. I can tell by the metal tag on the back. Very interesting." They were some Victoria's Secret Knockout bikini bottoms in a really cute pattern and I told her that's where they were from. She commented to my guy friends who were there, "I wish you guys were wearing women's bikini bottoms."

I always wear feminine bikinis here as we're all very close, and everyone is enthusiastically accepting of whatever in this small condo complex. I get lots of compliments on them and I think most notice they're women's bikinis right away. Most of the ones I wear are unambiguously women's as I like to show off and blur gender lines a little bit.
