While scuba diving in Mexico, I noticed the dive guide was wearing a suit that certainly seemed like a bikini bottom, briefer than your suits. It had to be super-brief to stand out, because most scuba divers wear Speedos under the wetsuit, and then sun & air dry in just the Speedo afterwards.

I am hoping for our honeymoon in the Domican Republic (maybe next summer/fall) I will spend the entire week in my swimsuits. As it is right now, I haven't worn them out too much as this just started towards the end of last summer. I have to admit, I am still a little shy walking into the pool wearing just bikini bottoms. Last summer I was wearing my board shorts over the bikini and only removing them to lay out on the towels. When I was swimming, i would put my board shorts back on. This was how I was untill the very end, then I finally said, "screw it, I'm doing what I want". Thats when I shed my board shorts, and walked into the pool from the towels with my GF. It was at that moment that I decided I was a brief swimwear guy.

The feeling of not having all the clothing on me was amazing. So free and able to move better. I did feel sexy in it too, when I was walking back to our towels in the grass dripping with water.

This year I am planning on leaving the board shorts at home so I have no choice but swim in my skimpy swim wear. You guys have any words of encouragement for a guy who is making a change to brief swim wear completely? I mean, I have worn them out to the pools (the first pic was taken by my GF at the local pool last summer), but I still have reservations about it.... I guess it just takes time to become completely comfortable in them...

LOL - if you went through all the archives you would see such a lot of anxt about "speedo friendly beaches" let alone "bikini bottom friendly beaches".

Simply choose the appropriate place not to cause public uproar or arrest and go for it
(but that feeling of freedom you seem to have experienced already is what you have come to enjoy so I guess you don't need much persuading).

Mrs Grundy will no doubt be caused some confusion so we will keep her guessing.

Btw do the girls have the same choice of weight, type and stretch of fabric as in guys trying to select the best speedo for themselves?

With all the designs, fabrics, cuts, manufactures, I would argue the women have more choices than guys.

Not worried about any laws... As long as everything covered and in place I am good. As you can see, none of my bikinis are too revealing as thong would be. The way I figure is if it coveres the same amount on a girl, then it should be ok for me too have the same coverage so long as my giblets stay in the front. Equal rights, right?

Yep bikini bottoms do look sike a speedo on a man.
Never the less dont buy those with a cord on both sides witch seem to be the trend this year (MOSTLY SOLD IN STORES) I would recommend not to wear those anyone will know they are women s bikini bottoms.
Unles you are a travesti and would like to drool yourself to death in front of a mirror, lol.

Yeah, I leave the tie side bikinis for my GF. None of mine are string bikini as I don't think I could pull it off as a guys suit. All of mine are over 1" width at the side. I will probably be able to post pics tomorrow.

Getting excited too, Next weekend is Memorial Day, which means the summer has started and the local pools will be open. I go past one everyday and have watch the progress all spring. It is now filled up and putting the finishing touches on the buildings and grounds. Be swimming soon!

You need to have a sense of adventure to wear a bikini with ties on each side. For some reason no one ever touches the ties on a girl's suit but when a guy wears a tie on suit it is open season. Everybody, friend or stranger, love to grab the ties and watch the suit fall to the ground. I had it happen once when I was standing in line to get some sodas. Everyone thought it was a riot (guy selling drinks took sympathy and gave me drink free) If you have never worn or tried on a string tie suit, they are a real challenge to get on and tied - especially with a laughing audience! The only time I have worn one since was at a private pool.

Default Boy in girls bottoms

You look great in those! I'd never have guessed they'd fit a guy so well. The striped one -- I wouldn't have known it was a women's suit if you hadn't told me.

So what do you do with the tops? Does your gf wear them? And have you been on your honeymoon yet?

Have not been to our honey moon yet.. Looks like it is gonna get pushed back to next fall.

Thanks for the comliments, it makes me more comfortable knowing people think I look decent enough to wear it. I'm by no means a model. lol.

Here are the tan line pics that I promised

Also, a new girls bikini and thong I got. My GF doesnt like the blue camo but she likes the thong. Gonna wear it for a week at her moms house since we have to house/cat sit while they are away and they have a pool...
