![]() That isn't me, it's even more exciting to make a swim brief or bikini and to get someone else to wear it.

![]() Thanks! I looked up the patterns and the bikini is still up online, but the brief sadly is missing. I'll keep looking for that one!
Does anyone know what type of fabric this is? This is what I was talking about earlier that is 75% nylon, 25% lycra. This is the back of the fabric. The front is the smooth orange at the bottom. |

![]() Here's some stuff I put together in 2005, it includes the Stitchboy patterns.
https://1drv.ms/f/s!An4mGwpml3N_oEo8p04U19nGIb02 It worked on Cloud but One drive is really annoying, create a folder and download each page into it then all the links will work. Last edited by Torchwatch : 04-07-2018 at 07:04 PM. |

![]() The Stitchboy patterns is how I got started sewing swimwear. They are definitely a good place to start. You can buy fabric either at a local fabric store or check on eBay. I used to buy most of my fabric there. If you're serious about making suits and plan to stick with it, you'd eventually want to get an overlock machine (serger) and a sewing machine. They don't have to be expensive.
Feel free to message me if you have any specific questions. |
