My Son's Swim Meet

I grew up in a boys school and noticed how many of the boys were simultaneously stimulated and disgusted by the images in the soft porn they had access to. We simply didn't have access to hard or gay porn in those days.
We hadn't been exposed to images of male errections and discovering our own errections was a bit of a surprise to us.
After PE we had to shower together in gang showers, those who were most disgusted by soft porn images were the first to start wetting their hair with their shorts still on and skiving the showers. They were also the first to make homophobic comments against that had an errection in the showers.
The homophobes were both excited and then disgusted by their own reaction to sexual stimulation. They then went on to bully the rest of the form into avoiding having naked showers.

At my son's most recent meet, he spent the whole time in his speedo. He looked great walking around the pool deck.

His mom and I drove him home after the meet. He was sitting in the back. We were about half way home when out of nowhere he said, "I got naked in the shower today."

"That's great," I said exchanging a look with his mom. "How was it?"

"Really cool," he replied. "I was kinda nervous, but it felt good to be naked with the other guys."

"Any trouble with you know what?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said. "But it's like you told me. None of the other guys cared."

That was all he said, but it's good to see him getting more comfortable.

My son's team is nearing the end of their season. They had one of their few remaining meets today.

It's great to see how comfortable they've become in their speedos. None of the guys bother to cover up on the pool deck (including a few that obviously had erections).

I was chatting with one of my son's teammate's mom. We were talking about our plans for the upcoming spring break. She asked, "So is your son going to wear his speedo on vacation?"

"I think so," I replied.

She then went on to tell me how they'd gone shopping at the mall. When she'd suggesting getting new swim shorts for their vacation, her son had said he didn't need them because he was going to wear his team swimsuit.
