![]() The tiger skin jammers are worn by a completely different team/school than the red, blue and black briefs and jammers.
Inexpensive practice jammers can easily be found for under $20 about the same as the briefs. Its the high end sharkskin jammers that are costly, but they wouldn't be worn for anything but a very important meet, as they don't last long. |

![]() I've been looking at photos of college and high school swim teams on line and I see a lot of them posing in briefs with the lessor number in jammers.
I suspect many people find Jammers to be very irritating and annoying and briefs are the most comfortable option. Also, the idea that jammers are "faster" is largely a myth and an excuse to require men to cover their upper legs. How many men's "shorts" go above the knee and what does that have to do with being faster? |
