The primary thing holding men back from getting into synchronized swimming is that they remain prohibited from competing at the Olympic level, though most other competitions now allow them to be part of a synchro team (though all male teams are still forbidden in most competitions)

Agree with you. The university I work at has a synchro team and several men work out with the team.

In our synchro club we have more adults both men and women wanting to learn synchro and each year we now receive three or four boys in instructional level. They compete against novice girls in solos and figures and more an more events have a mixed gender duet. Males bring a new dimension to the sport.

Do you object to the waterproof make up, hairdo's and fixed smiles in Synchronised Swimming or the concept of a synchronised gymnastics display in water?

In England, Morris Dancing is traditionally carried out by men, should women be excluded from Morris Dancing ?

Probably just for fun.

Great for men to show off their power and strength in synchro at the same type demonstrate agility and grace with endurance in the water.

There comes a point in propaganda and advertising campaigns where the publicist misses the point and turns a public who are mildly supportive and tolerant of their objective to being hostile in every way.
My opinion of synchronised swimming has been changed by Molly from something that women do and a few men can join in for fun to be one of would someone please get those bloody women out of the pool so I can get a propper swim in my speedos.
Please leave it alone.
