This morning after finishing my night shift I went to a local pool and swam in my new red Arena Saredos briefs. http://www.allensswimwear.co.uk/mens...r-2783045.html

They are lower cut than the Speedo and Maru briefs I usually wear and give a hint of tunnelling at the rear. Being bright red they catch the eye in a way unlike the black and navy briefs and square cuts other men wear at this pool.
The PBT/PL mix is less stretchy than Lycra and once wet creates a presentable bulge, while fitting comfortably. This fabric is supposed to resist chlorine and last longer than Lycra so something for everyone in this 2" swim brief.

About 20 people in my local pool today. I was the only one wearing speedos, but there was only me and one other guy actually swimming. Everyone else (kids mostly) just larked about.

If wearing speedos is dependant on swimming many laps - I can accept that.

Delayed and procrastinated post-hurricane chores.

Cleaned the patio and furniture and pool. Reset the orchids.

Wore my fake light blue Aussibum swim briefs, swam 2000m in them, felt good. Had tested them in the shower at home and knew the went very slightly see through.
Have ordered some genuine Aussibums now and am waiting for delivery.
Am off work next week and hope to increase my swim to 2500m.

Spent a glorious ( yesterday ) day at the beach, relaxing, hiking and flying kites in a metallic red 'Speedo' from Gary Majdell.

Then pool maintenance at home in gold Aussiebum classic.

Swam today 2000m in my AB Classic 1.5 royal blue. Outdoor 50m pool, and the water not cold at all. It was like being naked, magic of 100% nylon suit !
Compared to my turbo suits I wear when I swim with my team, it is much more comfortable ! However I don't know the durability of 100% nylon suits when swimming regularly in chlorinated water ...I only used it a few times. I will see in the next weeks... Any feedbacks on the question ?
