First time seeing or wearing a speedo

I always took for granted that kids were aware of a man's anatomy and wore my bikini cut suits to our neighborhood BBQs and pool parties. During one of these parties I was relaxing on my back on a float in the neighbor's pool. The rest of the adults had moved to a table and near the grill leaving just myself and one of the neighbor's daughters in the pool. She was pre-teen at the time. Without any notice she swam over next to me and laid her hand on my bulge and asked me "what is this?" i damn near inhaled myself, but remained calm and pulling back just told her that that was what all boys have. It was an innocent situation and I did not tell her parents as I am sure it would have gotten her in trouble, but I did retreat and join the other adults pretty quickly.

The first time I ever wore a speedo in public was at a small beach in Florida with my now wife. At the time, I had only known her for a few months and I was invited to stay at her mother's place in Florida. Before the trip, we had gone shopping for swimwear at a Speedo Authentic Fitness store at the mall. I remember looking at all the brief swimsuits wanting to buy one, but I didn't know how my gf would react. She eventually purchased a one piece speedo suit and I think I bought some regular baggy trunks.

Later that day I said that I liked her suit and that we could of had matching suits if I got the brief that matched her pattern. I don't exactly remembered what she said, but it wasn't a negative response. I decided that I would go back the next day and buy it.

We went back to the store and I picked out the suit. She went with me into the dressing room and wanted to see how it looked. She said it looked good and I should get it. I believe she even bought it for me.

Fast forward to the beach in Florida... We had just laid down on our towels on the beach and I had my baggy swim trunks over my speedo. After a couple of minutes, she asked if I was going to take my shorts off. I was shocked and nervous because I had never done this before and there were some people at the other end of the beach. I got my nerve up and pulled off my shorts. The feeling was like no other. It was a feeling of freedom, acceptance, panic, and exhilaration all in one. I kept my shorts close to me, but was loving every minute of the warm sun hitting my bare thighs. That was 15 years ago and I still own that suit. I will never get rid of it.

Just curious, do many guys wear speedo in Myrtle beach? My wife and I are vacationing there in September and I pam to wear my aussiebum briefs. Thanks

Hey NC, I wouldn't expect to see too many speedos in Myrtle Beach, but you may see a few. With the way you look in a speedo, you'd be doing a public service by wearing one!!! I say wear it and enjoy yourself!! Have a great trip

First time seeing:
I grew up when lots of guys wore them. I'm 37 so not that old. I can't pin down a specific time.

First time wearing:
Right from the get go. I've never worn anything other then speeds.
