That would have been great. They weren't quite that open. However, each camp had a couple of gang showers, as well as a separate staff gang shower which was about 50 yards away from the staff tents. It was not unusual at all for us staff guys to walk nude to/from the showers day or night, nor was it uncommon for the scouts and their leaders to do the same walking to/from their showers.
