I can pretty much mirror the comments of those already mentioned. First, I just swim that much quicker/easier, wearing a brief-type suit. I also have the square leg style (depending on who's around/where I am at) but I always go back to the brief. So swim-wise, they're more practical.
Then of course, there's appearance. I'm no male model but still in pretty good shape I think. My dick is average size - unless I'm in cold water lol. I prefer to wear blue/light blue briefs because they tend to do a nicer job of displaying everything. My favourite suits are the Sporti solid suits (Royal). I like them for the fit, comfort and freedom in the crotch. The all-lycra suits are too confining and they make my junk look too small. So I guess my appeal is the practicality it provides for swimming and the pride and confidence I have in being able to display my junk in my favourite style of swim suit as well as admiring them on other guys. |

drawstringz, I feel the same way you do about the Sporti briefs. I've got the Euro style in blue, black, green, and red. I love the feel of them as well as the fit. Like you I especially like the freedom in the crotch. I wear them very low on my hips which gives me a feeling of roominess (although my package is only average at best). And you can't beat the price. I rotate them along with my other briefs so the chlorine doesn't degrade the fabric. D67 |

I love the feeling against my body. Makes me feel sexy and kinda turns me on. I love when other guys are ballsy enough to wear speedos.

I love the feel of the lightness of the material and how quickly it dries. But most of all, I love a speedo tanline...

Like everyone above has said, they feel GREAT! What I like is the feeling of the sun and air on my skin, and especially the freedom of movement. When you raise a leg, you don't get any fabric pulling back on the front of your thigh, and when you lower the leg, you don't feel that fabric falling. That's what makes speedos so fantastic for bike rides. My legs go up and down on the pedals totally unimpeded. (Had to explain this to the police one day on one of my bike rides. Two of them wanted to know why I didn't wear shorts). Sorry to tell you that as much as I love speedos, and wear them lots, I prefer nude in the water.

I'm late, but I'd like to add to the discussion!
I love wearing speedos because I enjoy swimming laps. I love how unrestricted my legs are to kick in the water. Even in jammers, I always felt a little held back by the longer legs of the suit. It was partially due to the amount of tight-fitting fabric and partially due to a mental/subconscious restriction; I was always afraid of stretching the fabric and either making my suit slip down during a flip turn to reveal the top of my butt crack or over-stretching it and tearing a seam. Also, briefs allow the water to pass over my skin and leg hair, and the sensation is wonderful; it makes me feel as fast as a pro swimmer! Though I am, of course, completely NOT as fast lol. ![]() And then, the feeling when you get out of the pool and lay out in the sun and feel its rays warm your entire body, including the thighs which are almost always covered for the rest of your day, is absolutely wonderful! |

You expressed what I feel about riding my bike wearing just a speedo. I would just be glad to not be yelled at, but I will just ignore those insecure? men and enjoy life. |

I just enjoy wearing as legally minimal as possible.

comfort, easy to pack, cheap, acceptable anywhere, good casual daily wear around house and pool. Have worn since a boy at school and on swim teams - never give them a second thought.
