Good advice. It is so easy to be lead astray by nice pictures on Ebay when what you actually receive can be so different. The old saying still applies "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is".

YEP FIRST OF ALL, WENE YOU BUY VIA EBAY MOST SELLERS WANT TO SELL VIA PAYPAL, AND PAYPAL BELONGS TO EBAY SO ITS JUST ANOTHER TRICK TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF THE CLIENTS POCKET, i DO NOT HAVE PAYPAL SO ONCE IN AWHILE i GET IN TOUCH WITH THE SELLER IN THE ASK THE SELLER A QUESTION SECTION AND i ASK HIM IF HE WOULD ACCEPT MY PAYMENT WITOUT HAVING A PAYPAL ACCOUNT, IF SO WHAT PAYMENT WOULD HE SUGGEST.
sOME ACCEPT CASH, AND OUTHER FORMES OF PAYMENT WITHOUT PAYPAL BUT MOST INSIST ON PAYPAL.
nOW LISTEN TO THIS i CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE SELLER BUT HE WAS OFFERING A RED SPEEDO BRAND SUIT THAT BELONGED TO A AUSSIE LIFESAVER, SO OK i ORDERED IT AND WINDED UP WITH A RED WOMENS BIKINI BOTTOM.
fROM NOW ON A SUIT OFFERED VIA EBAY WILL HAVE TO BE REALLY SPECIAL FOR MR TO TRY TO BUY IT BUT AS FAR AS i AM CONCERNED NO MORE EBAY BUYING FOR ME,

Just to show there can be a good side it was great to see the post submitted by Abbyguy.
He now has the Speedo plaid suit he wanted and wears it well.
He has submitted a pic as he promised and it is clear that the suit is as advertised.
If it's BNWT I reckon he has a bargain at just GBP 4.99 and a reasonable shipping charge of £3. The UK seller gives name addresse and telephone number and takes payment by PayPal AND personal check (unusual).
Ebay says he has a track record of excellent service and feedback received has been 100% positive.
(I am jealous but that is only ameliorated by the fact of being a size too small for me anyway)

I forgot to mention about the so called red aussie life quqrd speedo, he clearly mentioned worn by a lifeguard, plus a pic with a well built guy wearing them. It turned out to be a red womens bikini bottom.

Permit me just another example, the vintage Lacoste tennis shorts was supposed to be in excellent shape well I have trown it away as soon as I got it, it was in terreble shape, beware of pics on ebay.
