![]() Just to clear the record, I never thought you would use the name Speedo. My point was since you used speedo as a generic term in your opening post that you should not do that. Sure we call tissues Kleenex, but go down the tissue aisle and not one competitor calls their product a Kleenex. I noticed Corka was referring to their suits as speedos, only a matter of time before they get slapped. I am sure Speedo is very protective of their brand name. I wish you well, but your response to my post has lost me as a customer should you ever start.

![]() I found all the hullabaloo over a simple error in typing almost comical. The word speedo has become so everyday to mean or refer to a brief cut male swimsuit that it was obvious you were going in that direction (I have seen Ebay listings for "Nike speedo") You are obviously well enough educated not to use a copy righted name if you are smart enough to go into your own business.
I am curious -- where are you located? Do you have access to someone that can create your prototypes or are you doing the sewing yourself? I have met a few people through the years that have made me custom suits that may be able to help |
