![]() Guys buy and wear jammers mainly because they think they cover more, and the shape pf their anatomy will be less obvious to onlookers, if at all. But I've seen photos of guys in (wet?) jammers whose anatomy(ies) was (were) painfully obvious, moreso than had they been wearing a brief, even. I suppose a person could wear a really snug strap underneath to minimize the bump, but that may be merely painful when swimming.
This is part of the old "double standard". Women delight in showing off the curves and bumps of the female anatomy, and no one even gives it all a second thought. But the bumps and curves of the male anatomy are a no-no. Weird! Sebbie |

![]() I was in the changing room getting ready to leave the pool as the club swimmers came in. They were wearing speedos under their jammers, so perhaps jammers don't give the support that these swimmers were wanting.
When I tried a pair of Maru Lycra jammers I disliked how they felt in the water. They didn't give free movement and constantly felt they were about to fall down. I wear Lycra cycle shorts all the time on my bikes, they feel right sliding across the saddle. When I wore my Maru jammers around the campsite and when walking to and from the beach they felt ok, but I just don't like them in the water. I notice this winter that a lot of young people are wearing tight jeans, last summer the fashion was for fairly tight knee length denim shorts. So maybe if we get a decently warm spring and summer we will get back to shorter freer shorts and maybe more speedos. |

![]() The bands made up of teen boys set the trends in male fashion, and whatever works for them gets to be part of the larger scene. That the girls oggle the boy bands is not lost on other teen males, and they emulate. Soon the idea becomes widely adopted.
Boy bands were among the first to show up in pencil jeans, often black but other colors like kahki or stone too If boy bands sung in brief swimwear, that would becopme the style too. |

![]() I clicked on the link and the first pic has a hot guy in a speedo. He's the guy with the light beard standing on the right side of the diver. He has a hot 6-pack stomach.
Anybody care to help me figure out who that is on the team? I looked at the team roster but found a few possibilities ![]() |

![]() Hard to say from that photo - maybe Brett Walsh? But this could have been a 'stock photo' - i.e., one the web site had on file from a year or two ago. Sometimes they use an old photo as long as it shows the right team...

![]() Thanks Swimboy...when I went to the Univ of Alabama athletics website and searched the roster for the swim team, I saw Bret Walsh (from South Africa) as the closest individual that resembled the boy to the left of the diver (which would be to the right side looking at it from our perspective).
Hot guy with a hot body and cute face! ![]() |

![]() Who helped confirm that the individual to the left of the diver (to the right of the diver if you are looking at the picture) with a beautiful face and scorching body is in fact Brett Walsh.
Byron even went as far as finding Brett Walsh's email. I think I might shoot him. Thanks again Byron! |
