![]() PSDave,
Glad you are healing well after the surgery hopefully in a couple of months you won't even see the incisions. It's amazing that not too long ago a person would have a big incision scar from that surgery and today only a tiny mark is left. |

![]() I'm visiting my sister and her family and friends to celebrate the Jewish New Year outside of Boston. Yesterday we went to their gym, a posh Boston Sports Club. I wore my Sporti water polo brief and was the only one in a brief suit there. I was a little surprised because I thought at a fancy gym, there would be more guys in speedos. It wasn't a great swim - the water temp was 86 degrees and the lanes were shorter so that 3 lengths was 50 yards or 1 lap. I managed to do 60 lengths (20 laps) but was really sweating by the end. On the up side, I did get my laps in and am enjoying our visit here.

![]() So the pool was about 17 yards in length? Interesting - I'm assuming it was an older facility? I swam in a pool in Houston a few years ago - outdoor pool in a park - that was 33 yards in length. That was weird.

Swimmboy, The pool was 16 and 2/3 yards long and felt very weird. It was hard to keep count of my laps so I just switched to counting lengths to measure my distance. The fitness part of the club was state of the art with a track going around the fitness room above it, but the pool area did look old and had only 3 lanes available to swim laps. D67 |
