I think everyone on here would appreciate a day at the beach In As little clothing as possible.

My family are avid scuba divers so we went on a long holiday to bonaire in the carribean. Though it's not known for its beachs, the water is exceptionally warn allowing you to dive in nothing but a speedo and rash guard. I think my boy and I spent the entire trip in speeds cruising the coast from dive site to dive site.

I try and hit the beach (usually in NJ) at least 4-5 times a summer, but sadly usually by myself. I always have a speedo, turbo or aussiebums on and sometime see other with them on, sometimes not.

I think the trip woudl be more enjoyable if we had a group that always could meet up with enjoys each other company. It may entice more people to start wearing them too!

Hope you recover fully and get some time at the beach. Surely there is still beach weather in southern California.

I don't scuba, but I do snorkel (I know it is not quite the same). I have always thought that in the warm waters of the Caribbean a Speedo type swimsuit just made sense for either scuba or snrokel. I am usually the only guy in them though on the trips I have been on... not that I care. Glad to see that there are others who think like I do.

He paspeedo,

I would not worry too much about the weather. If you go toward San Diego you should be fine. IMO the beaches down there are better than what you will find up near LA. I have been there in November and December, the weather was fine and the beaches were nice. You might not see lots of folks in swimwear, but keep in mind that they live in a warmer climate so what is nice to you might be cool for them. I was there for the holidays a few years ago. It was sunny and high 60's one day, I ran shirtless in a square cut along the beach, while the locals were running in long sleeve shirts.

Good luck,

STS

I will say the weather is still full of surprises. It was a bit cool last weekend... This weekend it is going to hit 100 degrees farenheight. People out here freeze at 60 degrees lol
