I have a black CoverMale bikini which is unlined and has no drawstring. It is very skimpy with about 3/4" -1" sides and I only wear it under something else. I sometimes wear it under walking shorts, but I would never wear it to the beach or pool and it certainly can't be used to swim laps. But, it does feel very sexy when I wear it. I think there are other CoverMale suits that would be similar to what you wear now. Dooley67
