![]() Kind of premature to claim Spring is here, at least where I live.

![]() Agree that a ways to go to Spring, but it's still okay to think about running on the beach in your swim briefs or whatever. Afterall, it's gotta be warm somewhere.....

![]() There are no beaches here to run on but we do have lots of sand. Living in the Southwest U.S. Desert affords us lots of sand. Happily we are also getting spring weather. Today it is estimated to be 78F (about 26C). No plans to run, but will slip into my speedos for a dip in the pool this afternoon. I think of this is late winter/early spring weather. Somehow, I can't imagine February at the beach in the U.K. great speedo weather. My visits to the UK this time of year have been filled with heavy coats only indoor pools. If you have the constitution for a run on the beach this time of year, more power to you!

![]() It is funny, but up here in Maine, I've swam some late summer mornings when the air was in the low 40's and the lake in the middle 60's. The fog off the lake was eerie, but the swim was great. Yes, the run to the lake was cold, and getting out sucked... but the water was warm, in relative terms. And the activity after to warm me up was fun...

![]() LOL - if Dave is from AZ a current like-for-like comparison with UK beach conditions is certainly problematic........I might agree to the speedos but under a heavy fleece tracksuit !

![]() We are running here along Lake Champlain in tights. Some time with shorts over them because your goods can get frosty if you just have the thickness of the tights. No bulges to speak of -mostly so shrunk up so you see kind of a knot (bunch) poking out like happens in cold water under jammers which by the way are much more revealing than speedos when your nuts and dick are pulled up to protect them from the cold.
