I ended up watching the first half of this new video one more time last night. For me it was both educational and totally different than the usual "porno" videos involving two men.
At one point in time, pre-HIV, being a gay male meant that you were engaging in anal and oral sex with your partner.
As you watch the video take not of what I observed. The first pair of "wrestlers are actually a sweet couple who enjoy each other tremendously. The wrestling is simply a fun way of playing with each other.
But, most importantly, this video illustrates all sorts of ways that two guys who are close can enjoy being close without engaging in anal or oral sex. Pay close attention as to the loving way they oil each other's bodies. Just watching this might cause a guy who thought he was straight to turn gay on the spot.
The tumbling mimicking wrestling with the oiled bodies has got to be great erotic fun in itself. But then the video gets really interesting when they start playing with each others balls and penises.
Take note that each of these guys seem to know exactly how much fondling the other can tolerate without pushing the other over the edge. They keep edging along via what I would call the stop-start method and intertwining the sex organ play with play that is arousing but takes the immediate pressure off of ejaculating. Being able to "read" another guy in this respect takes real skill. Straight couples could learn a lot from these guys about making your partner happy without immediately going into penis-vagina intercourse.
Is this pair a gay couple in real life? I don't know but I certainly hope that they are!
All in all I found the video of the first wrestling pair enormously useful and I learned a bunch of stuff about the current range of sexual behaviors between men. The couple in the second half of the video basically ignore the idea that they are somehow engaged in a wrestling match, and get more immediately down to stroking each other's penises. That's OK I suppose, but not nearly as fascinating a video on the subject.
