Default Colour of the month challenge Jan 17

This months challenge is to wear black swim briefs; swim in them, sunbathe, wash the car, trim the lawn or anything else you can think of.
Swim briefs, thongs, square cuts or jammers all allowed.
Remember points mean prizes.

Default Easy

That one is going to be easy.
I do 40 to 50 laps on every week day in my black Desmiit briefs.

Well done Swimmin that's loads of points to you, I rather like Desmiit too.
It is actually 2018, I stand corrected. blame nightshift working or something.

Swam 1500m in black Nike swim briefs this morning, always hard to get swimming after a nightshift.

Have often used this pool before at 06-30 hrs and have sometimes been the only person in swim briefs, today there were at least 5 others, one in the lane I was in, had forgotten how pleasant it is to see other men swimming in speedos through my goggles underwater.

I claim lots of points.

Default Attempted hot tubbing

But it rained recently so the hot tub was filled to the brim and slightly cooler than the air outside. Ah well, guess the complex management gets lax on its pool/hot tub maintenance in winter.

Here’s the evidence of my attempt:

Went swimming on Tuesday did the usual 1500m, this time in black Speedos with white, grey and yellow hip flashes.
The pool in Maidstone had heating problems so the water was colder than usual, it was a case of get in, swim fast and get out before chilling.
There seemed to be an adult basic swimming class taking place at one side of the shallow end. Men and women seemed to be wearing big shorts and tee shirts. They seemed to spend a lot of time floating with toys.

Uh-oh. How did this happen!?? I don't have basic blacks. Torch, is there an alternate colour I can wear in lieu of black? I know it won't get me an A+ grade, though I could live with a mid-range "B" or better then make up for it in February? Hmmm...

Swam 1500m in my black Swoof swim briefs. Swoof is a French brand that make swim briefs for swim vending machines.
In France swimming pools demand that males wear briefs, square cuts or jammers but shorts are banned. If you turn up at a pool (piscine) without appropriate male swimwear you are invited to use the vending machine where you can buy Swoof in a variety of sizes. They have 3" sides but the stretch fabric and elastic are very thin so these suits are not intended to last very long.
Not having swum in Swoof before I was surprised to find them comfortable, feeling very lightweight and easy to move in. They give support but perhaps not as much as a more expensive suit.
