It certainly looks photoshopped to me. The guy doesn't even look real - looks like a distorted cartoon mock-up of a bodybuilder.

It is but not in the way many of us think it is. It has a simple filter on it and it also is a very low resolution. Also that is not a beach tan but a bed tan. Typically it is the other way around. It also has been way oversharpened.
