Other than Prevailsport and Skinzwear, who else sell string side or rio cut swimsuits? Any big name swim company like Speedo and Arena?

A string side bikini is harder to make and more likely to go wrong than other bikinis. The manufacturers will avoid them given little demand.
I like them, but as with thongs it is difficult to find the right places to wear one.

As for string sides I would guess a definite No for the big names.
As for Rio cut, there seem to be plenty about - a small selection:

Are you sure it's Steve Grand? I tried to compare the pics from his personal website to the initial pic I posted here, they look a bit different?

Sorry Byron, nice selection of swim bikinis there but no strings.

A string bikini looks like this: http://www.nolimitsunderwear.com/Str...-p/301%20b.htm
or: http://www.nolimitsunderwear.com/Red...-p/301%20r.htm

The front and back are sewn into a waist band consisting of fabric covered elastic.
