Edinburgh
Likely relocating to edinburgh this year . I mainly have gone to to Druridge Bay in Northumberland in the past . Are there any tolerant beaches in the area . Portobello is too busy for me . I have read about Aberlady. Has anyone been there and have any tips about how to get there . Many thanks .

Thought it might be an idea to find out who is actively wearing in the uk … maybe a brief intro of where you are … what you wear etc it would be good to get an active uk section going again …
I’m in Edinburgh and wear normally a kiniki Andre or joe Snyder bikini at my hotel club pool . On the beach at Aberlady or down at Druridge I will use joe Snyder Rio thongs or items from my muscleskins or skinzwear collections which tend toward pouch front string side quarter back or less . Interesting to know what others do , and even what is worn in municipal pools . |

On Wednesday night I wore a black Kiniki Andre brief at a public pool. It was an adults only session so I had no problem with that. I even sat in the sauna, too.
Last summer I wore a black g-string swimsuit for a dip in the sea near Druridge. I picked a quiet moment, however. I plan to go away on a European holiday this summer, and I'll be packing both of those items... |

At Druridge I don’t think it’s really necessary to wait for a quiet moment . As long as you set up at a respectful distance from the bucket and spade brigade you are fine . I have gone jogging along the beach there and quite happily been separated from my clothes wearing very small thongs . The water is even tolerable sometimes !

I go to a local university pool, frequented by both casual and serious swimmers; no posers or sauna/steam room. My usual swimwear is a kiniki André or Joe snyder basic bikini. Admittedly I prefer to go when it's quieter though more for being able to swim without having to steer around slower swimmers.
