You'll realise once you've worn a pair of briefs or jammers that it actually is not as bad as you think it is, in fact you'll realise (dare I say this) you were the numpty in the 1st place for not wearing the ideal swimwear.

Yeah I know easier said than done, its why I love the Nike saying "Just do it"

if you lived here , in Lima, Peru, South America, you'll understand why "just do it" would be a bad idea when wearing swimwear, dear Chris.

Why quit then? You could get buried in your favorite Speedo, if you were so inclined.

"I will quite wearing speedos when I am dead and buried..."

During the "Troubles" a 12 year old boy in an English city went to town to buy a pair of football (soccer) shorts, short shiny nylon ones in those days. Passing a rubbish/trash bin he was killed by a bomb left by the IRA in the bin. He was buried in his new shorts.

Best not to provoke the Gods.

People notice older men in speedos not because there is anything wrong in their wearing them but because younger men have not been wearing them.
Whatever your age it is better to wear functional sportswear rather than indifferent fashion rags.

Default No age to stop wearing speedos

I'm just trying to make the most of what opportunities there still are.

Anyway - I never seem to see men under 50 who wear these, so maybe the question should be - at what age will you start wearing Speedos?

I don't really know what age I'll wear speedos to, but now I'm over 70 and still wearing my nylon Aussiebums. I do have to say that altho I'm getting a bit saggy, I'm in decent shape and am naturally hairless, so the effect is not too bad. I say this because there is some opposition to older men wearing speedos, especially over weight ones. But really, is an old guy in a speedo any worse looking than if he had his gut spilling over the waistband of a pair of baggy, wrinkled knee length shorts? Age is not a reason to stop wearing speedos.

Default I will never stop wearing them

I spent years swimming as much as possible. In college, I wore speedos under my summer shorts because I knew I'd end up in a pool. Then, twenty years ago, I started wrestling. Suddenly I had a new use for my collection of suits. I don't swim much anymore, but my speedos still get plenty of use. I even keep all sizes so my friends/wrestling partners can wear them, too.

Why stop wearing them???

Default ...and singlets?

Welcome new member today. I am sure SingletLover (and me) would like to hear about your collection. As for speedos, which are standing up best today in regular rough use ?
