I'm from France too (in the south), and Aussiebum are great to swim. I swim in WJ classic 1.5 and 2.5, and today I tried my new classic 1.5, but in XS size (I usually take S in Aussiebum). I clearly prefer XS !!! Much more support, and sexier because of the low waist... But in WJ size XS doesn't exist.
Here in France you can wear speedos everywhere, in pools or at the beach.
Because I regularly swim outdoor in 1.5 briefs even in winter, I start to have a great tan line... Perhaps I will post a photo when there will be more contrast...
