57 and gay, always have been.

I have recently returned to swimming after having been unwell for a while, and I can definitely feel the benefits, both in terms of weight loss and generally feeling good. I have always worn Speedo or Adidas briefs, and continue to do so.

I live in London, where I swim in Highgate Men's Pond during the summer months and will be using the London Fields open-air pool in the cooler months (which in the UK, is most of them!). There definitely seems to be more Speedo wearers in London this year; is the tide finally turning?

I also spend a lot of time in Torquay, Devon where I have a couple of holiday flats. I swim in the sea as much as possible - in fact I am heading off to my favourite swimming location this afternoon. Just a shame there aren't more Speedo wearers down here

My current favourite briefs for swimming are a pair of red Speedo Endurance, a navy blue Speedo, and black Adidas 3-stripe. I wish Adidas still made the red ones as it is my favourite colour.

I'm not gay and love wearing Speedos and as summer underwear too. I know a lot of males who would really like to wear Speedos, but fear others, both male and female think that only gay men wear Speedos as an attraction to other gay men. It's a'shame that this is the feeling, as to male swimwear in the U.S. I like them, as being comfortable and a nice feeling swimsuit. There's still a lot of women who like a guy in a snug speedo at the beach or swim club and some guys, locally do like Speedo swimsuits and I'm in my 50's.
