Guys buy and wear jammers mainly because they think they cover more, and the shape pf their anatomy will be less obvious to onlookers, if at all. But I've seen photos of guys in (wet?) jammers whose anatomy(ies) was (were) painfully obvious, moreso than had they been wearing a brief, even. I suppose a person could wear a really snug strap underneath to minimize the bump, but that may be merely painful when swimming.

This is part of the old "double standard". Women delight in showing off the curves and bumps of the female anatomy, and no one even gives it all a second thought. But the bumps and curves of the male anatomy are a no-no. Weird!
