Thoughts on just being a guy

One of my all-time favorite thongs I own is one made by 2x(ist) I actually own three of them purchased in various years. All of them feature what is called a Y back. The Y is elastic and varies in size from about 3/16 inches to 3/8 inches wide. The back is not quite short and tight fitting.

I decided last night to wear the most recent of the three UNDER my DEVOPS running tights as overnight wear. I needed to get the thong in the correct position before pulling the tights on over. The Y back serves an interesting function. tug of the top Y and the lower part of the Y has no option but to cut deeper between the glutes. But this same tug puts solid upward pressure by the thong on the perineum. The combination of the sources of tension between the two is nothing short of thrilling.

i kept waking up in the middle of the night to check the security of the band between the glutes. The back had gone quite deep but it felt quite good, and I was greatly enjoying the perineum stimulation I was getting as well every time I tugged the top of the Y. No escape!

Sadly, 2x(ist) appears to have completely given up making thongs of this style, and other manufactures are not making these designs available either.

It seems to me that most of the manufactures who were making thong designs similar to this have stopped as well. We now have a bunch of Asian-sourced thongs that are tinier with less fabric consisting mostly of a pouch and a back and waistband that are very narrow but stretchy. This morning I am experimenting with one of those (see post to follow).

More Fun this morning

I had so much fun with my 2x(ist) thong last night I thought I would continue the fun this morning.

I am here wearing my favorite Tesla brand running tights under a pair of black Puma sweat pants. But under the tights I have a really tiny bright Orange thong (swimsuit? underwear) that is labeled Kinisky I purchased online.

The idea behind the Kinisky is to have a pouch barely big enough to contain my balls and penis, hopefully not too erect, with a very narrow waistband and back. Can I make it through the day wearing this? How does the experience compare with the fun I had last night in the 2x(ist) thong (which was great!).

I tend to have the most memorable thonging experiences at night not during the day, and today is no exception. The Kinisky is kind of fun too but does not compare to what I was experiencing last night with the 2x(ist). I think I will be able to make it through the day, however.

On Tighty Whiteys (and other topics)

When I was growing up, from the mid 1950s to the mid 1960s, the preference for underwear style was nearly unanimously for the cotton brief, at least in the area I was from in the US (the Northern Plains). Interestingly, boxer shorts were all but unheard of (not enough "support" down there). The only real alternative was what was called a mid-length brief, similar to the brief brief that the vast majority of guys my age wore, but with longer sides. What we call the tighty whitey had typically a 5-inch side, but the mid length briefs extended the side to anywhere from 8 to 12 inches purportedly still with the same support down there that the brief brief, aka tighty whitey provided.

Mom insisted that I wear the mid length briefs, and that made me different from all the other guys in their real briefs. I did not escape the mid length briefs until I was into college. But long before that I had concluded that the guys who got to wear the tighty whiteys often were able to have more fun down there, and despite all the years this has never quite faded for me.

You are probably wondering how this all relates to swimwear designs. First let me say that brief-style swimwear timewise predates the Speedo/Lycra developments. I can attest to the fact that there were swim briefs designed for guys that probably date back to the 1940s. The material looked like a wool fabric and did not stretch. I found one of these swim briefs and actually wore it a few times in the water when I was growing up.

The majority of times, me and my friends wore swimsuits that looked like a plaid red or blue boxer brief, but these suits had an inner brief-shaped lining made of a thin white knit nylon material. I enjoyed wearing these suits and messing around in them. I used them as an early masturbation aid as I liked the fit and feel of the inner liner. But I soon discovered that ejaculate was tough on the liner if I just left it to dry. Oh well at that age I made do with what I had not what I would like to have. Many of the other guys were probably doing the same thing as well if they had a bit of privacy. The urge to ejaculate can get pretty intense at that age.

I have been studying the progress in swimming suits for guys by looking at what the top Olympic swimmers wore. in 1972 there are classic photos of Mark Spitz with 7 gold medals around his neck plus a patriotic red, white and blue swim brief. That brief (a Speedo, probably) is not very brief at all with maybe 5" or even 6 inch sides. The US was not present for the Olympics held in the Soviet Union. This brings us to 1984. Up until that point swimmers from countries such as France and Italy trying to increase speed by putting less suit in the water, and the sides of the briefs really started to narrow. Shows featuring male swimmers panned the swimmers revealing briefs that had shrunk drastically in size and coverage, and the US needed to look competitive.

For the 1984 Olympics, Newsweek did an article on the top US male swimmers featuring Steve Lundquist, Rowdy Gaines, and a few other guys all clad in sleek and snug swimwear similar to what they would be wearing in the competition, and this issue no doubt sold Then that was the year Greg Louganis won all his medals as well. Sad swimming welt into all the other modes with body suits etc, but things seem to be turning around. I am seeing high school students in swimming competitions wearing briefs once again!

A Feature not a bug (of being a guy)

Many guys seem to regard the idea that a guy can feel horny and unwittingly begin an erection as if it were a problem that guys unfortunately have. Given that getting an erection can occur in unexpected instances where a guy would strongly prefer not to have one a lot of guys long for better mind control. Indeed, many guys would like to be able to quickly and reliably will what is happening to shut down anything that is going on down there should the situation lead to something potentially embarrassing taking place.

Unfortunately, that is not how the male body works. Guys generally have limited control over situations such as this. It is almost as if the guy has another mind in control of what is going on down there moment by moment, another mind that is often disconnected from the brain, but still communicates with the actual brain on occasion.

Think, for example, about the basic process of putting on a swim brief for the first time. The guy might say to himself “I would be enthusiastic about wearing one of these IF I were certain that if I simply put the brief on my body this will not result in me getting an erection and everyone will notice as one of the problems in wearing a swim brief is that everyone can see not only the outline but also the state of my arousal just by looking at me. Besides, just the thought of slick and snug-fitting material over my penis makes me feel psychologically horny just thinking about it. Not only will everyone see my bulge I will probably start to drip creating little dime-sized damp spots on just the wrong places! the consequences of all of this are simply too scary to consider.

Still, there are some parts of this that draw me in. An interesting question is that I see especially divers show up on the boards and platforms wearing tiny swim briefs. How have they managed to deal with all of this? One answer is that for the divers, wearing a swim brief is part of what they do, so no big deal, at least after getting “used” to being in a swim brief. Still, a lot of guys probably admire divers, perhaps not so much for the quality of the dives, but for being willing and able to appear in a tight-fitting swim brief in full public view.

Over the years, I have purchased many garments because the specifics of the design would likely make me feel horny. I was not buying them because I thought that they would NOT trigger me in that regard—quite the opposite. This is taking masturbation in private to a whole new level, and I love setting up these situations. I like to try different things and see how my body responds to what becomes a predicament of sorts.

I was digging into the corner of a dresser drawer this morning and found a most interesting piece I had completely forgotten I had. It looked mostly like a jock strap, one with a narrow ¾ inch wide elastic as a waist band. It also has what initially first appears to be a pouch to hold a cup. The pouch snaps to the waist band with three metal snaps. That front pouch is connected to the waist band at the back not with leg straps but with a single short-and-narrow band of elastic. Strap meets thong and this garment was born. Not loose fitting at all. To work this narrow, short and not that stretchy elastic back will need to cinch up deep between my glutes.

I quickly discover that the pouch is not a sack that will contain a cup like an ordinary strap designed to hold the cup. But I have a little Franklin cup that seems about the right size and the pouch has elastic around the edges, so it will hold the cup pressing the bare hard plastic firmly against my penis. The feel of the hard plastic cup pressing directly on my penis might be way fun.

To hold everything in place I cover all of this with a pair of white Jockey flyless briefs I found in the same drawer dig. That gets covered with a pair of interesting compression shorts andtopped off with my black PUMA sweat pants.

That thong back is really fun as it is so short the only way this can work is for the hard, cold cup to press down firmly on my penis. I am enjoying everything that is happening down there as I write this. Lots of new and fun sensation. I had never worn a cup before without the cup being fully encased in the cloth in the pouch. I am liking this a lot, today.

Any guy can try doing the stuff that I do to, with and by myself. If me just writing about this gets you going, I am pleased as well. There are lots of physically and psychologically interesting places on the male body to explore and I keep discovering new and interesting garments and methods on a regular basis, this morning being one of an illustration of what is possible.
