Speedos in the Movies

Rainy day so I streamed movies. I had watched one movie and left the room as the next one started, when I returned I saw the TV screen filled with guys in speedos. (God I love 60" TV's) It appeared to be Aussie lifeguards. Of course I sat down and flipped on the synopsis. Here are the details:
Movie Titles: "EXCHANGE LIFEGUARDS" Aussie producers title
" WET & WILD SUMMER" Retitled (probably in US) to attract more
Production Date: 1992 (Speedos still widely worn then)
Stars: CHRISTOPHER ATKINS- Looking HOT. He starts movie in a business suit in CA. Flies to Australia, wears jammer-told not cool. Remainder of movie in speedos
JULIAN MC MAHON - Totally hot playing a lifeguard. I'd guess 90% of his screen time is wearing a speedo.
Plot: Typical beach movie - weak. However the theme is the beach and lifeguards in Australia. Virtually every guy in the movie is in a speedo most of the time. There are the obligatory bare boobs and one segment on a nude beach. No naked cocks but our stars do show they bums nicely as they walk across the beach.

With all the complaints I see about speedos overlooked by movies, I had to pass this on. (I have it running on my other monitor now with no sound)

I saw that movie and had record it on VHS from cable awhile back. Yes, lots of speedo including a guy being pantsed and have dog food stuffed down his crotch...

Its a low rez copy with ads here and there that sometimes stop the movie cold. I had to restart a couple times.

But the oddest thing about the copy is that it is reversed left to right which means all the credits and text in the movie reads backward or mirror image

I have never seen that issue before!

The video is in two parts but the second part cues up as soon as the first 59 minutes are complete.

Having watched the movie, and thought about all of what I saw, I thought that Christopher Atkins looked really good in those snug-fitting jammers, despite the teasing he got from the other lifeguards he got for not wearing the briefs. The jammers fit exactly right close to the body.

Going into the swimwear store, he got the wrong advice from the sales clerk on the sizing of the briefs. He would have looked (and likely felt) better one size down.

Seeing him in the mullet beach green and then gray briefs, the fit was far too loose and especially on the gray ones the waist was too high---they looked like "granny Speedos" worn that way.

I remember that movie, may even have a copy. It was a pretty good movie and how could it not be with Speedos in the picture.

As I was watching the trailer of "Summer Job", the same screen suggested another movie "Summer Lovers" 1982. I watched a clip of it, when the main characters went to a nude beach. Peter Gallagher took off his shorts revealed a pair of black brief. Then also took it off to be naked.
