Introducing Girlfriend to speedo

So I've planned a trip to Cancun this December and I really wanted to wear a speedo. I've been wearing them for years swimming laps at the gum. But my problem is I don't know how open my girlfriend is to the idea. I also don't know how open she is to the idea of a speedo in any situation. The relationship is new and and she doesn't yet know know that I wear a speedo on a almost daily basis. Can I have some tips on how to approach this?

If she works out or swims, she probably knows all about mens Speedo suits. At the very least she would have seen them at the sport shop when she was purchasing a bathing costume.
