Default Movie - The Swimmer

I recently watched it on DVD, and Burt Lancaster in the starring role played the entire film in a tight pair of short swimming trunks. But it was made in 1968...

If it was remade today there would be a few adjustments. The star would wear a pair of knee-length board shorts. All the women would be in bikinis, with the 20 year woman, instead of wearing a modest bikini - would probably be in a thong! And the scene where Lancaster appeared in the nude would be cut, as Americans now don't like seeing nudity.

you need to go out to movies more. At least half of the movies I've seen in the last year had at least one naked man in it. Of course it is from the back but they don't show male or female genitalia that often. (i did see one comedy a couple years ago where there was a bottomless resort where the women wore tops and no bottoms, men walked around nude or with a rib tickler)

Default Movies with a Guy in a swim brief

I've been compiling a list of movies in which at least one guy shows up in a swim brief. It's an eclectic mix, old and new.

1. Swimfan
2. Swimming Upstream
3. Where the Boys are (the original, not the remake)
4. Sex and the City 2
5. Ordinary People
6. My Bodyguard
7. "Pride"

Feel free to add to the list

PSDave,

What is a rib tickler? I've never heard of that.

Please add Leeches (a movie) to the list.
A 2003 movie, a bad movie, but most of the "college" swimmers are in Speedos.

"Breaking Away" showed handsome actor Hart Bochner in a speedo - he was supposed to be a swimmer (breaststroker) for Indiana University

I think the very first "Friday the 13th" movie from the late 70s had Kevin Bacon in a speedo - he was supposed to be a lifeguard

I flat out forgot about Breaking Away

How about
"Back to School"
the 1986 Rodney Dangerfield movie featuring diving
