Getting exposed to Lycra
When I was growing up, Lycra was not yet invented. Swim class in high school, we were required to wear nylon Ocean (something) suits in blue. I still have one brand new in the box, and I promise to return it soon. Anyway, this I feel got me into the nylon, then Lycra desire. Look, feel, etc.
My nephew is about seven and he is now wearing these UV protection suits when at the beach. Looks like a rash guard and bike shorts all made of a heavy duty Lycra. Personally I would love to have had those growing up.
Just wondering what he will remember of these times and will this be the beginning of a wonderful love of Lycra.....or obsession
