I have a Mo Jae II, with a drawstring, lining, flat front and full rear it is acceptable anywhere.

Look for a drawstring and a full height rear that won't show a crack.
I've worn the Nu Yo to public beaches, most guys can't fit everything into the tiny front but I like that fit. Here's a link to my album of beach suits, but I guess most guys want suits with bigger pouches
