I grew up wearing them but was shunned at age 11 by a girl who said they were dick togs and the cool guys don't wear them. Then I went to highschool and they were compulsory. She had sort of made them forbidden so it was fun to wear them again.
After that I started wearing them in my early 20s. I wear them to the beach, to the pool and to waterparks.
