I remember back when I was young the boy scouts had an "official" swim suit that was designed for camping trips. It was made of nylon so it dried fast and you could put in your backpack dry. They looked like they were made by Speedo and were gold and red striped with the scout logo on them. I had always had brief cut suits from my first suit, but these were that silky nylon and felt sooo good when I wore them. I think I joined the scouts just so I could get one of the "official" suits. It was that suit that started my long love affair with nylon suits. I remember almost living in them when I went to scout camp every year. Other guys had them and I recall that at least one of them had mentioned they liked the nylon too. I wish I knew how many of the nylon speedo type suits I have had since -- must be hundreds.
