Default What to wear in the heatwave

It's really hot in Britain and Europe at the moment, SE winds have brought a heat dome up from Africa.
In France 40 people have drowned swimming in open water, the figure in Britain is about 8. avoid the canals, lakes and abandoned quarries that look so inviting but can be death traps. Watch out for your own and other peoples children, drowning is fast!
To keep cool at home without aircon wear perforated "airtex" fabrics. choose a vest rather than a tee shirt, wear unlined short shorts with a jockstrap if you have one, for comfort. Let the air get to your skin.
In a vest and shorts you can still answer the front door or pop out to the shops.
If you're going to sunbathe wear your speedos, a swim bikini or a swim thong, anyone seeing you will think you daring but sensible and consider wearing the same!
