I recently bought a couple of Speedos (Uk); a pink/ purple 5cm brief and a similar red one. Both have a seam at the back for snug fit i assume. I always remove the tie string and cut away some of the lining. The red one one was tripple lined in the pouch while the back was also lined though no idea why as the colour was not likely to be transparent. By frequent wear i ha e noticed that the fabric is stretching a bit.. not sure I'd buy speedo again.
